Once upon a time it was before 2,000BCE. Once upon a time, there was a ‘Queendom’ amidst the thick desert of Arabia located at the cross roads of the ancient silk route. Once upon a time, there was a woman for whom rich commodities of myrrh and frankincense was traded. Once upon a time, there was a Queen, whose gazelles produced for her aromatic musk, with which she adorned herself, along with the velvets and silks that were traded on the busy bustling route in camel carts and horse carriages. The beautiful gazelles produced their musk. Her Gazelles. She entered King Solomon’s Crystal Palace of Jerusalem, crossing the vast heat of the desert from her Queendom to his Kingdom. Once upon a time the sun set over the desert dunes and the traders on the routes traded their last, yet the gazelles remained as elegant and handsome as they produced their fine fragrance for their Queen.
They were her gazelles…
…The Gazelle of Sheba
